Who else is bored of winter? With the release of our Spring/Summer 2016 Home Collections, we’ve said farewell to winter and hello spring! Just because the weather hasn’t caught up, doesn’t mean our homes can’t be full of spring interiors! Lifestyle blogger Bunty from Bunty Living has welcomed spring into her home with just a few of our new season accessories from the Gosford Collection. Let’s see how she is celebrating the arrival of spring.
Recently, I’ve enjoyed skipping ahead to spring . I’ve began to allow my daydreaming to inspire little changes in and around our home. Infusing our decor with touches of pinks here and there and adding flowers to just about every corner possible has really helped to warm the overall feel of our home. We’ve been enjoying break-through blue skies and pure sunshine recently so I’ve been savouring the sweet smell of spring in the air every time I stepped outside.
I’ve added a few accessories to our lounge area that’s now bursting with energy! The gorgeous Gosford Bloom Cyclamen Embroidered Cushion is such a welcoming sight first thing in the morning. The colours really pop against the muted tones in our lounge and I just love how the beautiful floral embroidery bring vibrance to the living area.
It’s been a long, cold winter and sometimes it feels like certain rooms of the house get ‘stuck’ in the season. I find that adding touches of colour here and there is a great way to revive tired schemes, while bringing life and visual interest to a room. I love these cushions for that purpose. They’re beautifully soft and catch your eye as you walk into a room. I think because the rest of our scheme is quite cold and neutral, a pop of bright fuchsia instantly demands our attention, infusing those long awaited spring vibes!
There are many ways you can inject a little spring into your home in preparation for the season. My top tips are to use fresh flowers and accents of colour to refresh your living areas.
