Your choice of bedding should reflect your personality. Our Gosford Bloom Cyclamen Duvet Cover adds subtle color to those bare dorm walls so you can make a statement without overpowering your roommate’s style. Match with the Gosford Sham and Cushion and of course, don’t forget the duvet and pillows. For a glam pop of colour, our Nigella Velvet Cushion was the finishing touch.
Organization is key to staying focused all year long, our Beatrice storage totes keep everything neat and tidy. Use our shoe and closet organizers or under the bed storage to maximize the small space.
Dorm rooms can sometimes get cold and drafty, but don’t let that scare you. Our robes and slippers are perfect for lounging in around the room before and after classes.
Saving space is crucial since dorm rooms aren’t always the roomiest. With our cosmetic bags, your beauty products can be kept together and you can avoid losing your favourite lipstick again!
Our jewelry holder is perfect for holding both necklaces, bracelets, and rings! It’s compact, so it will fit perfectly in any spot in your room. Whether it’s on the dresser, desk, or nightstand, the possibilities of how you’re going to display your jewelry are endless.
We used Laura Ashley wallpaper for a few simple DIYs to make your dorm feel a little more like home. With just a few materials, you can create your own bulletin boards and desk organizers in several easy steps.
DIY Bulletin Boards
- What you’ll need: plain cork boards, wallpaper, and tape
- Place the cork board down on the back of the wallpaper. Using a ruler, make sure
to leave about 2 or 3 inches of wallpaper on each edge of the corkboard. Mark with a pencil before cutting. - Then, cut the excess wallpaper to your desired measurments and fold the wallpaper over the cork board edges. Make crisp edges for a clean look and tape the excess wallpaper down.
- Depending on dorm rules, you may be allowed to use Command strips to hang the corkboards. If not, there are other options such as sticking wall putty or tape on the back of the cork board and then attaching to the wall without damaging it.
We used the same method to give boring magazine holders a makeover with Lisette and Josette print wallpaper. You can even mix and match prints to add more life to your space!
A dorm wouldn’t be complete without some studying must-haves. Stay up to date with latest assignments and projects by keeping a notepad or journal of important tasks. Take organization one step further and colour code your stationery for different classes or semesters.
