We’ve spent the best part of the week streaming London Fashion Week on our iPads. From the decadent backdrops of Claridges (Mulberry AW13) and The Savoy (Moschino Cheap & Chic) to the awe inspiring venues of the Royal Exchange (Jonathan Saunders) and The Tanks at the Tate Modern (Unique AW13), catwalk venues today take residence in all manner of jaw dropping settings. Carefully preserved within the depths our Welsh and London archives our two archivists Anne and Angela delved into our old photo albums, uncovering these amazingly insightful pictures of our catwalk shows from the 1970’s and 80’s. From the opening of the Laura Ashley shop in The Hague in Holland (late 1970’s) to the 1989 fashion show held at Bagley’s Lane, the same offices that our Head Office resides in today…
