On Wednesday, July 19th we opened the doors to the first ever Laura Ashley Tea Room, welcoming press and bloggers from the surrounding Solihull area to sample all the delights Laura Ashley The Tea Room had to offer.
Also in attendance were the Lord Mayor of Solihull and Lady Daventry who got to experience the charm of the venue and afternoon tea offering for themselves.
Following on from the success of the Laura Ashley Hotels we were keen to branch out into the very British tradition of afternoon tea.
Set in The Regency Hotel in Solihull this stand alone tea room offers customers the chance to indulge in an extensive selection of yummy homemade cakes and sandwiches as well as selecting from a wide range of mouth-watering Birchall teas (12 to be precise). You can also pick Prosecco or Champagne for an extra cost.
As soon as you walk through the bright red door to the Tea Room, you’re greeted by the friendly staff that are ready to show you to your seats and take your order. For those of you with different dietary requirements, there are plenty of additional menu options to meet your needs!
Decorated in the signature Laura Ashley style, our talented Design Service team have worked their magic on the venue and turned it into the perfect place to relax, sit back and enjoy some tea and cake. From the Truffle Camomile Pussy Willow Wallpaper, the Josette Dove Grey accessories and the stunning mirrors; everything has been carefully selected to create a relaxing and memorable experience for its customers.
Everyone that attended had a fabulous time experiencing what the afternoon tea had to offer and even got to take what they didn’t manage to eat home with them in these stylish, easy to carry boxes.
